Chaucer’s Retreat is a lower ground floor apartment in the expertly converted former Chaucer House Hotel, a local heritage building located directly opposite St John’s Church in the heart of Keswick. Sleeping two, it is a large apartment with its own private entrance and car parking space.

The apartment is accessed via its own private entrance at the back of Chaucer House. It has a hallway and cloak area and steps down into a spacious apartment with views of Latrigg and beyond from the lounge/diner window.
It is equipped to the highest standard. The fully fitted kitchen, has a dishwasher, microwave, electric hob and fan assisted oven and a variety of high quality kitchen utensils and crockery. There is also a utility area are with a washer dryer.
The large open plan lounge and dining area has a Smart TV, DVD player, leather suit, coffee table, book case and a dining table with seating for two.
The bedroom has a king size bed, double wardrobe, chest of drawers and hair dryer. There is a full bathroom next to the bedroom with bath, sink and toilet and there is also a separate shower room and toilet. Chose a luxuriant bath after a long walk or quick shower before dinner.
A Cot and high chair is available on request. Towels are included.
