Keswick Cottages started all the way back in 1995 with a caravan and a young family living and working within the Keswick tourist industry . At lot has changed since then however the core values have always remained.
Our reputation has been built on providing the best customer service and combining this with a high standard of accommodation. We will only ever take on a new property with owners that share our ethos and understand that a guests comfort and enjoyment whilst on holiday is our top priority and every property must be maintained to a 4 star standard as a minimum. Don’t just take our word for it all Keswick Cottages properties are inspected yearly by visit England meaning we are the only agency in the area to be fully accredited and the only agency to be minimum 4star. Many of our properties have achieved a Gold Award.
Over the years we have seen how faceless the self-catering industry has become with large companies prioritising profit over customer service and overall guest experience. We have and will always, continually strive to buck this trend. Greta House is an impressive contemporary haven enjoys an idyllic location on the banks of the river Greta, with a fabulous garden where you can enjoy the serene setting with a good book or al fresco dining while taking in the views. Inside there is a perfect blend of comfort and luxury, having been freshly furnished and decorated throughout to an exceptional standard, with a real eye for design. Enjoy warming up by the log burner or enjoy a scenic walk with your pet along the river Greta. Available to book from January 31st 2025!
The Tops is a spacious maisonette set out over 2 floors in the heart of Keswick, with views towards Skiddaw and Walla Crag. The fabulous restaurants and shops of Lake Road can be found to the front of the property, with Derwentwater just a 5 minute walk from the front door. The Tops has been beautifully renovated throughout and features all the modern conveniences you could need for your holiday in a comfortable, stylish setting and is pet friendly. Deer Close Cottage is an enchanting stone cottage has been beautifully decorated throughout and occupies a breath taking elevated position with sunny south-west aspect just in front of Walla Crag and overlooking the beautiful Borrowdale Valley. This welcoming Lakeland Cottage is accessed via the large doorway from the patio area, which leads into the spacious open-plan kitchen and dining room. This light and airy room makes the perfect space to cook and dine. The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer shelf, dishwasher, microwave, and plenty of cookware.
Lydia's River Cottage is a charming peaceful pet-friendly Victorian cottage in an idyllic location on the banks of the river Greta. It is open plan downstairs, fully central heated with a remote control living flame gas stove to provide a nice cosy focal point on cooler days. Enjoy the tranquillity of the river setting but a mere ten minutes flat walk to the town centre. Currently save up to 15% on last-minute breaks!
